Shillong, Oct 19: The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) team of West Garo Hills district apprehended four suspected drug peddlers during an operation on Saturday.
The drug peddlers has been identified as- Prosojit Dalu, Kriston A Sangma, Sengbath Ch Momin and Sonu A Sangma.
“After getting tip-off, we conducted a raid and apprehended four suspected drug peddlers who were traveling in an Auto Rickshaw B/r No ML08G-7609. From their possession we have seized 1008 SP capsules weighing 388.08 grams, another 99 numbers of P. Neitra tablets weighing a total of 0.99 grams and suspected heroin weighing 0.61 grams were recovered from their possession,” said an official of ANTF.

In another operation, ANTF arrested three drug peddlers on Saturday morning in a public bus. The ANTF team recovered 22 numbers of vials containing suspected heroin weighing of 2.1 grams.

The drug peddlers has been identified as- Ajay Debnath, Niranjan Chakraborty and Suman Sen.
The drug peddlers were travelling by public bus from Garobadha towards Tura.
