Boko, Sept 1: Police forces from Dhupdhara and Dudhnoi, along with the Dudhnoi Co-District Superintendent of Police apprehended three individuals allegedly involved in a sensational dacoity that occurred in the early hours of Saturday at Tiplai village under Dhupdhara Police Station.
The accused have been identified as Abhinash Rabha, Rahul Koch, and Apurba Rabha.
The arrest took place near the Assam-Meghalaya border in Dudhnoi following a joint raid launched in response to the violent robbery.
According to police sources, the gang responsible for the incident comprised multiple members, and further arrests are expected as the investigation progresses.

Police officials recovered a red Datsun vehicle, ₹75,000 in cash, one mobile phone, and a set of iron weapons from their possession.
Senior officers at Dhupdhara Police Station are currently interrogating the accused to uncover further details about the gang’s operations and possible accomplices.
Sources indicate that several other members of the dacoity group remain at large, and search operations are ongoing to bring them to justice.
The incident has sparked concern among residents in the border areas, with calls for heightened security and vigilance in vulnerable zones.
