Dibrugarh, July 6: Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) took out a mock funeral rally of Assam Food and Civil Supply minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass and the government for failing to control the sky-rocketing price rise in Dibrugarh on Thursday.

AJYCP took out the mock funeral rally from their party office and hit the streets of Dibrugarh shouting slogans against the government for failing to curb the price rise.

The government, which came to power by assuring the people of “Accha Din”, is turning into worst days,” said AJYCP’s district president Udayan Baruah.

He further said, “Food and Civil Supply department minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass has failed miserably to curb the price rise of essential commodities. The price rise of LPG cylinders, petroleum products have hit the common people.”
