Bikers without helmet collide with Tata Sumo in Tura’s Spring Hill, hospitalized

Tura, Oct 7: Two persons from Garo Hills have been admitted to Tura Civil Hospital after their bike collided with a Tata Sumo early on Saturday morning, at around 6:35 AM, at Spring Hill in Tura, Wet Garo Hills.

The Sumo with registration number ML08G4113, was being driven by Sumiron Hajong, resident of Rakkaldobi, Zikjak, South West Garo Hills, whereas Winsai B Marak and Tengrak M Sangma were riding the bike bearing registration number AS01DU 1153.

The collision led to two bike riders, Winsai and Tengrak, sustaining injuries. It was noted that neither of the riders were wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Currently, the reason for the accident the party responsible for it is not known. Similarly, the extent of the injures on the youth is not known.
