Shillong, Dec 28: Most Reverend Victor Lyngdoh, currently the Bishop of Jowai is appointed as Archbishop of Shillong on Monday.

Informing this, Fr. John Madur, Diocesan Administrator said, “We announce to you that Holy Father, Pope Francis, has appointed Most Reverend Victor Lyngdoh, currently the Bishop of Jowai is appointed as Archbishop of Shillong, today Monday, 28 December 2020 at 4:30 PM.”

While congratulating and Welcoming Bishop Victor Lyngdoh, Father Madur said, “ I also take this opportunity to thank each and everyone for the prayers and support given to me during the past one year.”
