In a shocking incident, a violent altercation erupted between two groups in Laitumkhrah at around 1:00-1:30 am on Friday. Following the fight between the two groups and pelting of stones, the clash also proceeded to to the police station to file First Information Reports (FIRs).

According to reports, the fight between the two communities took place near DHS office in Laitumkhrah.

Also, angry mob outside the police station set fire to a police vehicle inside Police Station premises.

The motive behind setting police vehicle is yet to be ascertained.

As investigation in this case have commenced, and more details are awaited.
