Curfew relaxed from 2 to 4 PM in West Garo Hills

Tura, March 12: The district administration of West Garo Hills has relaxed the curfew for two hours on March 12 to allow residents to purchase essential items.

According to a notification issued by the District Magistrate, the relaxation will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. During this period, people will be allowed to step out to buy ration, food items, medicines and other essential commodities.

The temporary relaxation has been granted to help residents meet their daily needs while the curfew remains in force due to the prevailing law and order situation in the district.

The administration has urged the public to make use of the limited time responsibly and return to their homes before the curfew resumes at 4:00 PM.
