Tura, April 12: The Dalu Cricket Association emerged victorious in the Inter Club Cricket Tournament 2022-23 Division B for the Garo Hills region on Wednesday by defeating Guare by 45 runs in Tura, West Garo Hills.
The TDCA’s (Tura District Cricket Association) has organized the Inter Club Cricket Tournament 2022-23 Division B from January 2023 to April 12, 2023. The tournament featured 21 clubs from across Garo Hills and aimed to provide a platform for budding talents and promote cricket in the region.
In the final match of Division B, the Guare Cricket Association faced off against the Dalu Cricket Association at the Alotgre Cricket Ground in Tura. Dalu won the toss and elected to bat first. With a strong performance, they managed to score 113/10 in 24.1 overs. In response, Guare struggled and were bowled out for 88/10 in 22.1 overs, with Dalu winning the match by 45 runs.

The star of the match was Ravin Dokgre, who took five wickets in 4.1 overs, conceding just four runs in his spell, earning him the Player of the Match award.
Chillian Sangma of Dalu CA was named the Best Bowler, while Jongkam Marak of Dalu CA was awarded the Player of the Tournament. Mingku Marak of Balachanda CA was named the Best Batsman.
The TDCA Inter Club Cricket Tournament is organized every year and is a stepping stone for young players to showcase their skills and get selected for the district team to participate in professional cricket tournaments such as Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Ranji Trophy, CK Nayudu Trophy and more.
