Tura, September 22: The Gabil mahari team has secured themselves a spot in the finals of the Inter Mahari Women’s Football Tournament after defeating the Mrong mahari in the semi final by 1-0 on Monday at the P. A. Sangma football stadium in Dakopgre, Tura.

After the first half deadlock, Ranutha G Momin scored the winning goal for Gabil mahari in the 28th minute of the second half. Mrong mahari tried their best for a comeback but failed to convert chances.

Sillame G Momin of Gabil mahari team was awarded player of the match.

With this win, the Gabil mahari team will be facing the Mangsang mahari team in the Inter Mahari Women’s Football Tournament final, scheduled on September 27, Saturday, at the P. A. Sangma football stadium in Dakopgre, Tura.
