Govt. lays foundation stone for 30-Bed integrated Ayush Hospital in Mookyndur Village

Shillong, Feb 24: Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, along with Health Minister Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh and AYUSH Director Dr. Joram Beda on Saturday inaugurated the construction of a 30-bed integrated Ayush hospital in Mookyndur village, West Jaiñtia Hills.

The initiative aims to bolster healthcare services for the community, with gratitude extended to Mookyndur Village for generously donating 5 acres of land for the project.

Emphasizing the hospital’s broader impact, Dhar urged expedited construction to ensure prompt healthcare delivery.

Dr. Lyngdoh in her speech stressed on the institution role in providing Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathic healthcare, particularly for non-communicable diseases. She commended Dr. Beda’s efforts in facilitating the project and stressed the urgent need to streamline doctor selection for timely staffing.
