Shillong, Nov 10: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today said that the entire MDA is ready to face the no confidence motion moved by the opposition against the government.

“We had a meeting with all our MLAs and we are confident to face the opposition tomorrow”, Conrad K. Sangma.

He further said that it was not necessary for the opposition to seek no confidence motion against the government. “If they had any important matter that needs attention of the House, there were several ways to do it. However, since they have taken the way to go ahead with no confidence motion, we are ready to face them”, Conrad added.

In the 60 member Meghalaya legislative assembly, the opposition has 19 members in the House.
