Himanata Biswa Sarma offers prayers on last day of Navratri, visits Durga puja pandals

Guwahati, Oct 23: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma paid a visit to several Durga puja pandals in Guwahati’s Pandu area on Monday, the ninth day of Navratri, and offered prayers.

While talking to reporters, CM said, “Triumph over evil is achieved during this time. Similarly, our country should be victorious over evil forces. I pray to Maa for peace and prosperity in the country.”

Taking to X, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “On Maha Navami, we sacrifice our egos at the lotus feet of Maa Durga through Balidan. During Maha Yagna, we seek Maa’s Aashirwaad for eternal Shanti and Pragati.”
