Indian defence forces have always been a profession of honour and integrity, ‘A way of Life’, rather than a job and North Eastern part of India with its abundant pool of youth full of sparkling energy are willing to be a part of nation building are the promising locations for the future Defence Officers.

However, due to lack of coaching facilities, infrastructure and proper guidance, their participation in the ‘Profession of Arms’ has been limited. Keeping these limitations in mind Project DARPAN & Project SPEARS were conceptualized.

These one-of-a-kind initiatives will enable specialist training from an experienced faculty, which will ensure that the children are well prepared and equipped to undertake the complete selection process of written examination and personal interviews as well.

The project will be run under the aegis of Indian Army’s Eastern Command, under the supervision of Dao Division at Dibrugarh.
