Tura, Aug 7: West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Jagdish Chelani, on Wednesday inaugurated the newly created lactation room facility for staff at the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS), College of Community Science (CCS), CAU in Tura.
The event was part of the valedictory programme at the conclusion of the 7-day long World Breastfeeding Week 2024, held from August 1 -7 at the campus.
He also commended the dedicated efforts of the faculty of HDFS, under the leadership of Dr. Jyoti V Vastrad, in organizing the event.
