Shillong, June 9: Bordermen of 4 Bn BSF Meghalaya on Thursday rescued a 63-years old lady tourist near the boating point Dawki.
The elderly woman was rescued after she fainted near Dawki’s boating point.
Soon, the BSF troops evacuated the lady to nearby hospital for better treatment.
The picture of elderly woman receiving medical treatment in a nearby hospital was shared on the official Twitter handle of BSF Meghalaya.

The video of woman being rescued by BSF jawans are now gone viral on social media with netizens praising the act of humanity.
In an act of humanity, the BSF Meghalaya also saved the life of a local villager by giving him first aid and timely evacuation to hospital after he was bitten by a snake in a village Jaliakhola, West Jaintia Hills.
The local was identified as Mickhle Sangma.
