Meghalaya police rescue Gujarat tourists lost in the gorges of Sohra

Shillong, Oct 3: Meghalaya police on Tuesday rescued two tourists after they lost their ways in the gorges of Nohkalikai falls in Sohra.

East Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtnger said, after receiving information, a team from Sohra police station led by WPSI Vandana Diengdoh was dispatched to search for the duo.

The two tourists – Avani Soni and Abhishek Jamwal – were rescued by the police.

They hail from Vasna road, Vadodara, Gujarat.
