Tura, Aug 6: The body of Teseng M. Sangma, the missing Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer of South West Garo Hills, is expected to be placed in the mortuary van within the next 25–30 minutes, officials confirmed late Wednesday evening.
It was informed that all formalities related to the recovery will be completed by tonight.

The SDRF, Fire & Emergency Services and police teams continue to carry out the final stages of the challenging retrieval operation, navigating steep and treacherous terrain to bring the body safely up from the gorge near Pelga Falls, where it was located earlier today.
South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has coordinated with her counterparts in West Garo Hills, including the DC and SP, to ensure the wishes of the bereaved family are respected and fulfilled.

Due to the late hour, the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow, with the consent of the family.
According to family member close source, the funeral is scheduled for Thursday.
