10 Maoist killed

Guwahati: Ten Maoist, including three women, were killed in an encounter with the security forces at Abujhmad in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar on Tuesday. This is the second major encounter at the site where 29 Maoists were gunned down earlier this month.

Guwahati: Former Punjab-cadre IPS officer Gurinder Singh Dhillon on Tuesday joined the Congress at a function at the AICC headquarter in New Delhi. He was welcomed to the party by Devender Yadav, in-charge of the party’s Punjab unit.
