Imphal, Jan 24: The National People’s Party (NPP) has released the 1st list of candidates with 20 names for the Manipur Assembly elections. NPP intends to contest 40 seats in the 60-member Manipur Assembly.
Manipur polls are slated to happen in two phases – February 27 and March 3.
In the 2017 Assembly polls, NPP had won 4 seats and emerged as the king maker party.
NPP was part of the BJP led coalition government but this time it is going solo.
