Shillong, March 9: The Office of the Syiem of Hima Mylliem on Thursday confirmed Pa’iem Ainam Manik Syiem as the full-fledged Syiem of Hima Mylliem.

Pa’iem Ainam was crowned on Thursday following the appointment from the Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, Titosstarwell Chyne.

Pa’iem Ainam Manik Syiem is the 13th full-fledged Syiem who and is the 23rd Syiem (which include the Acting Syiem) who have look after the Hima Mylliem.

The coronation took place in the presence of the executive member of the KHADC, relatives of the new Syiem, the ministers and personage of the Hima Mylliem as well as in the presence of the rangbah shnong and members of the Federation of Khasi States.
