Shillong, Nov 28: The four members of the Federation of Khasi Jaiñtia and Garo people (FKJGP) and Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), who were apprehended in connection with the violence during the peace rally on unemployment organised by the FKJGP on October 28, 2022, were released on Monday from Sardar Police station, Shillong.

The four were lodged in jail for more than 24 days. Two were apprehended from Mawlai and Jaïaw on November 3 and the other two from the same locality on November 4.
