Shillong, July 29: BJP leader and cabinet minister AL Hek on Tuesday expressed personal satisfaction with the performance of the NPP-led MDA government.

Responding to a query on the performance of the MDA government, Hek has deferred to the people’s judgment, stating that it is for the public to evaluate the government’s performance.

However, he expressed personal satisfaction with the work done by the government, acknowledging the limitations and challenges faced.

“It is for the people to judge not me. People will judge. How will I judge my own performance. Whatever we are doing and in my humble way, I personally I am satisfied. We have so much to do but we also have limitations,” the BJP leader stated.

To another question, Hek stated that the decision regarding continuity in his ministry will be based on the party’s decision, and he cannot comment on it.

“I have told you that will be based on the party decision. Don’t ask me this. You can ask the party. This is party decision,”he said.
