Shillong, April 2: Students from Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday staged a candle light vigil at Arunachal Bhawan in Shillong in remembrance of the 25-year-old girl from Arunachal, who was allegedly raped and murdered recently.

They also demanded punishment for the culprits involved in the heinous crime at the earliest.

The body of the 25-year-old woman, missing since March 7 last, was recently discovered.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two people in connection with alleged rape and murder of the victim.
