Shillong, June 25: The department of Laboratory Science of the Supercare Hospital has been officially accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in accordance with the internationally recognized standard ISO 15189:2022.

The NABL accreditation is awarded to medical laboratories that demonstrate technical competence, robust quality management systems, and adherence to international best practices in patient care and safety.

In a press statement, Supercare Hospital said this significant milestone reaffirms the hospital’s commitment to delivering reliable, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic services to the people of Meghalaya and the Northeast region. It added that the NABL assessment involved a rigorous evaluation of the hospital’s laboratory processes, personnel qualifications, equipment, quality assurance protocols, and overall operational excellence.
