Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh has announced the upcoming festivals in Meghalaya, with particular emphasis on the highly anticipated Cherry Blossom Festival 2024. During a press conference on Monday, the minister detailed the international partnership, star-studded performances, and the festival’s theme, "The Year of Legends."
The Republic Day parade on Friday featured the Meghalaya tableau, showcasing a captivating presentation of the state's cherry blossoms. The tableau transformed the landscape into a picturesque canvas adorned with delicate shades of pink. Cherry blossom trees, gracefully swaying with blossoms, created a mesmerising scene reminiscent of a dreamy springtime paradise.
