The Rongara-Siju MLA and former Cabinet Minister Rakkam A Sangma has welcomed the issuance of the tender for the long-awaited Chokpot–Siju–Karukol road project, estimated at around ₹130 crore, calling it a major boost to connectivity and development in the region.
