After over a decade, coal mining has resumed in Meghalaya, this time scientifically. Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma, inaugurated the state’s first scientific coal mine at Saryngkham-A Coal Mine, Byndihati, East Jaintia Hills on Monday.
