Amid ongoing discussions among the opposition CPI-M, Congress, and TIPRA Motha regarding support to the already declared CPI-M candidates for the upcoming by-polls in Dhanpur and Boxanagar assembly constituencies, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially revealed its nominees.
Congress Lok Sabha MP Abdul Khaleque on Tuesday said that the draft proposal for delimitation in Assam must be scrapped. He said that the draft proposal for delimitation has been done in a ‘haste and with an ulterior motive to marginalise certain sections of the society’.
