The Garoland State Movement Committee (GSMC) led by its acting chairman Balkarin Ch. Marak met Union minister for tribal affairs Jual Oram at his office in New Delhi on Tuesday.
BJP leader and cabinet minister AL Hek has backed the idea of smaller states in the north-eastern region, saying there is nothing wrong with the demand.
