Representatives from State Olympic Associations across India held an informal meeting at the Olympic Bhavan here on Wednesday, in the presence of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President Dr. PT Usha, following the IOA’s Special General Meeting.
The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah handed over the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) flag to Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Friday marking the official handover to Meghalaya as the host of the 39th National Games in 2027.
The Government of Meghalaya on Tuesday received an official letter from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), confirming the state as the host for the 39th National Games, scheduled to take place in February or March 2027.
