Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal arrived in Dibrugarh on Friday after attending the Central Election Committee meeting in Delhi to finalise the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha election.
Talking to reporters, CM Sarma said, "We will win 11 out of 14 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. But we will try our best to win 12 numbers of seat in the state,".
As the parliamentary elections draw near, political parties in Assam are gearing up their preparations, selecting their preferred constituencies for fielding candidates.
