Government of Meghalaya on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, to fast-track the implementation of drinking water supply schemes across the State.
Public Health Engineering (PHE) Minister Marcuise N Marak on Tuesday informed that the Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme (GSWSS-III) project is expected to be commissioned by March next year, with a current completion percentage of around 70%.
