Meghalaya’s Education Minister, Rakkam A. Sangma, announced that the state government has approved scholarships for students in the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program. This financial aid, provided by the Education Department, aims to support teacher training candidates at the Cherra Teachers' Training Centre (CTTC) in Sohra and the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) across Meghalaya.
