Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Education Vijay Kumar Mantri on Monday met the agitating adhoc teachers under the banner of the Federation of Adhoc School Teachers of Meghalaya (FASTOM), who have been staging their indefinite sit-in-demonstration for the past 192 hours.
The Federation of All School Teachers of Meghalaya (FASTOM) on Monday held a peace rally from Malki Ground, where the procession moved through the city before concluding back at the same venue. The rally was followed by an indefinite sit-in demonstration.
