Seven people have been arrested for assaulting the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of a police station in Tripura, who was attempting to enforce a ban on loud late-night music during a local festival.
A tense situation gripped the Tilabazar area of Kailashahar in Unakoti district on Sunday evening after pork and a letter were recovered inside the century-old Tilabazar Jama Masjid in Tripura.
