The Meghalaya government will move ahead with a detailed project report for a water supply scheme covering Mukhap-Mokaiaw and Motyrshiah villages in Mokaiaw constituency, Public Health Engineering Minister Marcuise N Marak told the Assembly on Tuesday.
An amount of Rs 538.44 crore has been sanctioned under State Plan for implementation of the New Shillong Water Supply Scheme Phase-I. The project was accorded administrative approval on March 15, this year.
