The second autopsy of Assam’s beloved singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg was completed at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Tuesday morning, following requests from his family amid growing calls for clarity around his death.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday announced that a fresh autopsy of legendary singer Zubeen Garg will be carried out as part of the ongoing investigation into his death, following allegations of foul play.
Preparations for the last rites of legendary singer Zubeen Garg will begin tomorrow at 7:30 AM, with an estimated 5,000–6,000 people expected to attend the ceremony at the designated venue, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Monday.
