SHILLONG, DEC 16: The periodic restrictive order on traffic movement along the Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem stretch of the Shillong-Dawki road will be lifted on a round-the-clock basis effective December 18, 2025, until further notice.

However, small-scale construction and recovery activities may continue intermittently, causing temporary traffic interruptions of approximately 10-15 minutes.

Road users are advised to remain cautious, cooperate with on-site personnel, and plan their travel accordingly.

The notice is issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pynursla Civil Sub-Division, to inform the general public and ensure necessary compliance.
