Shillong, Jan 8: A video of a man tied to the signboard of the Shillong Law College at Dhanketi and being tortured has gone viral. While the date and time of the video is not known, Police are on the lookout for the people involved.

The East Khasi Hills police are on the lookout for the person/persons involved and said that action is being initiated just after seeing the videos and photos of the incident.

Police said that the victim was a drug addict/peddler and suspecting he had stolen materials from a construction site some persons, who are yet to be identified, tortured him.

In the video, the victim is said to be a resident of Polo, Shillong. Drugs, a khasi knive and one mobile phone were seized from the person.
