Tura, Sept 26: The ANTF of West Garo Hills Police on Tuesday apprehended one drug smuggler from a bus.

The accused have been identified as one Kamendra Rishi.

Acting on a tip-off, the Tura ANTF undertook a checking of buses, and apprehend Rishi. They have recovered 15 vials containing narcotic substances suspected to be heroin from his possession.

The accused has been arrested along with the drugs and a case under NDPS Act has been registered against him.
