21 Field Assistants pass out from CTI Byrnihat

Nongpoh, Nov 14: Twenty-one Field Assistants of the 51st Batch (2024–25) were officially inducted into service on Friday after completing their 11-month training at the Conservation Training Institute (CTI), Byrnihat.

The Passing Out Ceremony was organised by the Department of Soil and Water Conservation at the CTI auditorium.

Director of Soil and Water Conservation, L. Shabong, graced the programme as the chief guest, alongside senior officials and family members of the trainees.

In his address, Shabong congratulated the trainees for completing their specialised training in environmental conservation. He urged them to apply their skills in their respective postings, particularly in protecting natural resources and preserving vital water sources. This year’s batch included one trainee from Arunachal Pradesh.

Certificates and awards were also presented to outstanding performers in academics, training, sports and other activities.
