Shillong, June 9: The regional committee on West Jaintia Hills has been asked to submit its report within one month time.

“I have asked them within one month to submit the report,” Deputy Chief Minister and chairman of the regional committee on West Jaintia Hills, Sniawbhalang Dhar, told reporters on Monday.

“They will have a meeting with the Assam counterpart first. As soon as they finish, the final regional committee report will be submitted and both the states will take a call on the issue,” he said.

Asked, Dhar said the delay was due to one village Baikham near Ratacherra.
