Imphal, Feb 17: BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday released the party manifesto for the upcoming Manipur Assembly elections in Imphal.

The manifesto highlights to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur, preserve rights of Indigenous people.
Nadda said two free LPG cylinders under Ujjala Yojna and free scooty to all meritorious girl students is one of major highlights of the manifesto.
The other major highlights are: Economically weaker section girl students to be given Rs. 25,000 stipend, all meritorious students will be given free laptop after class 12, increase monthly pension of senior citizen to Rs. 1,000, farmers will get Rs. 8,000 per year under PM Kishan Nidhi, scholarship for children of small and marginal farmers, Skill University for Manipur, one AIIMS for Manipur, 100 percent coverage of Ayushman Bharat to the tune of Rs. 5 lakh.
The BJP is contesting in all the 60 Assembly seats that go to polls in two phases on February 28 and March 5.
“We will contest in all the 60 seats in Manipur elections and we will surely form government in the Manipur with majority,” said Nadda.
