Must read

Dibrugarh, April 11: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday wrapped up his two-day visit to Northeast with brief visit to Dibrugarh in Assam where he was present at the foundation laying ceremony of BJP’s new office and addressed a rally where he categorically said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, BJP would win over 300 seats and Prime Minister Narendra Modi would form the govt for the third straight term.

“I want to tell Congress that in 2024 Lok Sabha polls, out of 14 seats in Assam, BJP will win 12 and nationally BJP will win more than 300 seats and Modiji will form govt for the third term,” Shah said.

He attacked Rahul Gandhi once again saying, “Rahul Gandhi goes to foreign land and belittled the country. There is still time for Rahul Gandhi; if he does not mend his ways, like the way Congress has been washed off from northeast, in entire country same will happen. Congress says Modi Teri kabr kudegi… let me tell them… 120 crore people are praying day and night for Modiji’s long life. The more you abuse Modiji , the lotus will bloom even more brighter.”

Shah also thanked the party workers of Northeast.

“(In) Three states in northeast polls we have been able to win… be part of the govt; in all eight states of northeast you have NDA govt. It is because of Modiji’s governance that AFSPA has been withdrawn from 70 percent of Assam’s area; there is peace in Bodoland region; even Karbi Anglong hills there is peace. The interstate border disputes of Assam with other NE states are being solved,” Shah added.
