Braving rains Assam CM campaigns, sways to “Akou Ebar Modi Sarkar”

Guwahati, April 29: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma led an electrifying election campaign rally in Kokrajhar to garner support for UPPL candidate for the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

The heavy shower could not dampen the spirit and energy of Himanta Biswa Sarma, who danced with the tune of “Akou Ebar Modi Sarkar ” echoed through the air, with thousands gathered despite the inclement weather.

While addressing a rally, Sarma came down heavily on the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) for failing to do development works in Bodoland.

Sarma pledged to address issues such as unemployment and infrastructure deficits promising initiatives including the construction of a Railway Overbridge at Fakiragram and upgrades to the local railway station alongside road development projects.

Amidst the heavy rain, the chief minister articulated his vision for the region, emphasizing the need for the development and progress.

Sarma highlighted the vision of ‘Modi’ government and stated that the government will do all round development of the region after forming the government for the third consecutive term.

CM Sarma announced a series of promises, including the provision of ‘Orunodoi’ benefits to families holding ration cards and the commitment to create 50,000 job opportunities.
