Tura, April 20: Kharkutta MDC and former MLA Cherak W Momin is to be the Congress candidate to contest against the NPP candidate Rakesh A Sangma for the post of Chairman of GHADC slated for April 21.
Congress leaders from GHADC informed that the contest will be a direct fight between the NPP and Congress.
While Cherak Momin is returning as an MDC after 5 long years, Rakesh Sangma has become a giant killer after defeating NCP President and sitting MLA Saleng A Sangma with a margin of several hundred votes.
