PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program, advised parents against equating their child’s report card with a visiting card. He emphasised the importance of healthy competition, urging students to compete with themselves rather than others.
He also highlighted three types of stress on students—peer pressure, parental pressure, and self-induced pressure. PM encouraged setting small goals and gradual improvement for effective exam preparation. Describing students as the shapers of India’s future, Modi expressed that ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is like an examination for him as well.
The event, organised by the Ministry of Education, engaged students, parents, and teachers, with this year’s edition featuring a town hall format at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
