Guwahati, Oct 8: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills district on Wednesday significantly bolstered the implementation of MRSSA, 2016.

This initiative involved the distribution of laptops and Provision of internet connectivity to 16 pioneering localities to facilitate the effective implementation of MRSSA 2016 namely: The 16 Pioneering localities are- Risa Colony, Wahdienglieng, Mission Compound, Umpling, Lapalang, Riat Laban Kynjat Phutbol, Nongrim Hills, Nongrah, Lawsohtun, Lower Lumparing, Nongmensong, Upper Lumparing, Pohkseh, Mawpat, Madan Laban,
Malki.

These pioneering localities, spanning the first and second phases, are expected to see a marked improvement in the registration of landlords and tenants following this technological enablement.

“We anticipate that this technological support will significantly enhance the process and compliance for landlord and tenant registration across the district,” said an official.
