Shillong, Mar 7: National and international speakers today converged at St. Anthony’s College to unravel the deep connection between historical events and the spaces humans inhabit.
St. Anthony’s College today hosted an international seminar on “Geophilosophical Imaginaries” on Friday at the Noel Conference Hall. The event featured a keynote address by Prof. Janae Sholtz from Alvernia University, USA, who explored the deep connection between historical events and the spaces humans inhabit. The seminar featured two academic sessions with nine distinguished national and international speakers, including Prof. John Giordano (Assumption University, Bangkok), Ms. Lesley Gowland (BICOCCA University, Milan, Italy), Prof. Soraj Hongladarom (Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Thailand), and several faculty members from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), including Prof. H.
