Williamnagar, Dec 2: The District Administration of North Garo Hills, Resubelpara, in collaboration with the District Employment Exchange, organized a grand Job Mela at Dekachang, Resubelpara, for job seekers from across the district. The programme was conducted under the Chief Minister’s Career Guidance Scheme with the objective of providing employment opportunities to the youth. The dedicated support and active participation of the North Garo Hills ITI staff played a vital role in the successful conduct of this Job Mela.Renowned companies such as HDFC Bank, SBI, Varun Beverages, Greta Solutions (Shillong), Eastern Silicon Pvt. Ltd. (Mendipathar), Confederation of Indian Industry (Assam), The Beginners Feat, Barbeque Nation, and Teleperformance were among the key recruiters that participated in the event.

Around 210 youths came forward to register for the Job Mela, reflecting strong interest and enthusiasm among the young population in exploring new career opportunities and securing meaningful employment. Their active participation highlights a growing awareness of the importance of skill development and career guidance in shaping a better future.
